The Federation of Canadian Artists Studio invites the public to Art Salon 2025, a dynamic showcase that revives the tradition of the great European art salons. Historically, salons were prestigious gatherings where artists presented their finest works to celebrate innovation, dialogue, and artistic excellence. On Granville Island, this spirit lives on through an exhibition that unites some of Vancouver’s most respected and inspired creators.

This year’s participating artists, Chris Block, Nefe Ogodo, Louise Drescher, Dianne Longson, Olivier Salvas, Caroline Scagel, Golfo Tsakoumis, Sharon Klein, and Anisha Benjamin are all artists working within the Federation Studios, many also members of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Together, they offer a rich and diverse experience that moves fluidly from figurative and nature-inspired works to landscapes and expressive abstracts.

Each artist contributes a distinct voice and vision, yet the cohesion of Art Salon 2025 lies in a shared devotion to craftsmanship, curiosity, and excellence. The exhibition stands as both a celebration of individuality and a testament to the creative energy thriving within Vancouver’s vibrant arts scene and the cultural heart of Granville Island.

The opening reception on Friday November 7 invites collectors, art lovers, and the community to meet the artists, enjoy their newest works, and take part in this annual celebration of creativity and collaboration.
