The Enchanted Garden: The Fairies Collection

As we are on our week of goodbye for “The Enchanted Garden”, today we are exploring the theme of fairies that was one of the main themes for the collection. Why fairies? “A fairy” is derogatory term that was used to refer to queer people, particularly gay men. I wanted to reappropriate the word with the collection and to “free” the fairies and let them run free without fear.

Featured in the “fairy” set are:

🧚🏻‍♂️ Hello My Friends 40x30

🧚🏻‍♂️ Flying Fairies 30x36

🧚🏻‍♂️ I Do Believe in Fairies 24x30

🧚🏻‍♂️ Fairy Land 10x10

🧚🏻‍♂️ The World of Venus 36x48

You can find “The Enchanted Garden” at my gallery space at Bean on Hastings 175 W Hastings Vancouver, BC
