Olivier Salvas Artiste is now an Artist-in-Residence at the Federation of Canadian Artists!

Olivier Salvas Artiste has officially been announced as an artist-in-residence at the prestigious Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) — and you’re invited to visit him in person! You can now meet Olivier, explore his creative process, and shop his vibrant collections at his new studio and office space, located within the Federation Studios on beautiful Granville Island. The studio is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Federation of Canadian Artists, founded in 1941 by a group of influential artists including Group of Seven member Lawren Harris, has long been a cornerstone of Canada’s arts community. Dedicated to supporting and promoting Canadian artists, the Federation continues to offer a rich platform for exhibitions, workshops, and professional development — a legacy that Olivier proudly carries forward.

Olivier Salvas Artiste is known for his bold and imaginative collections that explore themes of identity, resilience, and inner worlds. His celebrated past series include Disco Nap, a collection emphasizing safe spaces and peaceful reflection; Flamboyant, a joyful and colorful celebration of self-acceptance; and The Enchanted Garden, a dreamy, nature-inspired exploration of wonder and growth. These pieces — and more — are available for purchase directly on-site during your visit to the studio.

In addition to his residency, Olivier continues to serve as a beloved workshop facilitator at the Federation of Canadian Artists, sharing his expertise and inspiring the next generation of artists. His contributions were recently recognized with a feature in Art Avenue Magazine, celebrating his impact on the Canadian art scene. This new chapter builds on his past successes with the Federation, including a mini-residency at the Federation Gallery and an award-winning entry that captivated jurors and audiences alike.
