On The Edge Exhibition

The annual On the Edge challenge by the Federation of Canadian Artists invites artists to push beyond convention, test their creative limits, and explore new terrain. This juried exhibition brings together a powerful selection of international talents who approach art through bold, boundary‑defying perspectives.

I’m pleased to share that my piece “L’Écho des Montagnes”, from my most recent collection Paradox, is part of this year’s show. The exhibition runs from June 23 to July 13 at the Federation Gallery on Granville Island (1241 Cartwright St, Vancouver, BC V6H 3R7) and is also available to view online.

While “L’Écho des Montagnes” has already found a home before the exhibition and can only be viewed virtually, I highly encourage you to visit the gallery in person to experience the work of the many incredible artists featured this year.

Paradox is a collection that explores dualities—tension and peace, movement and stillness, clarity and chaos. Each piece invites the viewer into a layered narrative where contradiction becomes harmony. Through textures, bold colour shifts, and unexpected forms, Paradox reflects the complexity of modern existence and the quiet strength found in embracing contradiction.
